The wait is finally over! Prime Video has released the trailer for the highly anticipated third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which premieres on July 16.
The upcoming episodes pick up two years after she chose Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) over his brother Conrad (Christopher Briney) in the dramatic season 2 finale, and sees the now college-aged protagonist reckoning with the consequences of her decision when Conrad comes back into her life.

In the trailer, Belly narrates "when I'm with J, everything is easier, but everywhere I go, there's a memory of Conrad." The trailer also confirms that Conrad followed his late mother Susannah Fisher's dying wish of moving to the West Coast, and will be pursuing a career in medicine in San Francisco.
The trailer also hints at another reunion besides that of Belly and Conrad - Belly's parents. Season one of The Summer I Turned Pretty picked up following her parents' divorce, and explored her mother's relationship with fellow newly single writer Cleveland Castillo.

Jenny Han, who wrote the trilogy of bestselling books the series is based on, has teased that the final season is going to leave fans "devastated and heartbroken", because that's how a "successful love triangle" looks.
Meanwhile, in other entertainment news, Sabrina Carpenter has a mini Girl Meets World reunion ahead of the show's 11th anniversary, while Jason Isaacs shares his experience on the gossipy set in Thailand.
