On her podcast, Martha Stewart shared a fascinating story about the late journalist Dominick Dunne, who famously covered the O.J. Simpson trial.

Stewart recalled the moment on her podcast on June 11, while in conversation with former 'Vanity Fair' editor Graydon Carter.

During their conversation, Stewart and Carter looked back on Dunne's popularity, especially when he visited Stewart's property in Maine.

"He was amazing," Stewart recalled. "I have a little church up in Maine on my property called the Holy Family Church. It's a Catholic church that was built for the housemaids, and the workers that had no Catholic church on the island."

"Dominick wanted to come up for the weekend. I put out a little ad that he was going to come to the church and give a talk. And that place was packed," Stewart said. "I mean, he had such a draw. He was such a draw to anybody who read anything."

Carter also shared stories about Dunne's reporting style, including how he would stay at the Chateau Marmont for eight or nine months, sending dispatches every month that would tell the narrative of that period.

The two also discussed Carter's new memoir, "When the Going Was Good," which details his career as a magazine editor during the 90s, including his tenure at Vanity Fair.
