Nelly and Ashanti fans! The music power couple has just released the trailer for their upcoming reality show, "Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together", which premieres on June 26.

In the trailer, the couple gets candid about their on-again, off-again past, revealing that they "hated" each other before they finally got back together in 2023.

Ashanti and Nelly's Relationship Timeline

• The couple started dating in 2003 and were nominated for the 45th Grammy Awards the same year.
• They broke up in 2013, but didn't rekindle their romance until 2023.
• In 2024, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, whom they affectionately call KK.

In the trailer, Ashanti reveals that she didn't think they would get back together, saying "I hated him" and laughing. Nelly quipped, "I hated her", before smiling and saying "She got me y'all". Ashanti then replied, "He wanted to get got".

In November 2024, the couple opened up to Entertainment Tonight about their son, with Ashanti gushing, "He's such an incredibly happy baby. He smiles all the time." She also revealed that their son lights up around Nelly, saying "When he sees daddy, the vibe definitely changes".

Nelly, born Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., also shares daughter Chanelle, born in 1994, and his son Cornell, born in 1999, with his ex-girlfriend Channetta Valentine. Following the death of his sister Jackie Donahue in March 2005, Nelly adopted and raised her kids, Shawn and Sydney Thomas, after they lost their mother to leukemia.
