Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing grievous bodily harm during an alleged nightclub attack in London, England.
The 36-year-old singer entered his plea at Southwark Crown Court in the British capital just after 10 a.m. local time on June 20.
Wearing a blue suit and black tie, Brown only spoke to enter his "not guilty" plea and confirm his name and date of birth, alongside his co-accused, Dallas rapper and producer Omololu Akinlolu, 38.
The next stage of the case will take place on July 11, with the trial scheduled to start on October 26, 2026. Brown had previously been released on May 21 on a $6.7 million bail for the alleged attack on producer Abe Diaw in 2023.
This came after the musician was arrested by London's Metropolitan Police in Manchester, England in the early hours of Thursday, May 15.
Following his release on bail, Brown has been able to continue his Breezy Bowl tour, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of his career. The night before the hearing, Brown played a sell-out show in Cardiff, Wales.
He will continue his tour while the legal proceedings continue.
