Anthony Ramos Recalls Madonna's Distracting Behavior at Hamilton Show

Anthony Ramos, the original cast member of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, has shared a humorous anecdote about Madonna's behavior during a performance.

Ramos appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he recounted the "most terrifying celebrity" experience, which happened to be Madonna attending a Hamilton show.

"The most terrifying was Madonna with her iPad in her face," Ramos shared, demonstrating how she was engrossed in her device throughout the show. "I'm like, 'If you're not enjoying it that much, you know the door's right there. You ain't gotta stay here,'" Ramos quipped.

This isn't the first time Madonna has been caught using her phone during a performance or screening. At the 2013 New York Film Festival, she was reportedly asked to put her phone away during a screening of 12 Years a Slave.

Playbill reported that Madonna arrived late to a Hamilton performance in April 2015 and was seen using her phone throughout the show. Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda even barred her from visiting the cast backstage after the show.

Ramos recently joined Miranda and the rest of Hamilton's original cast for a 10th anniversary performance at the 78th Tony Awards earlier this month.
