L.A. Dodgers Deny ICE Entry, Fans Protest Outside Stadium

The Los Angeles Dodgers stadium on Thursday, June 19, 2025, saw Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents attempting to access the stadium's parking lots, but were denied entry by the organization.

Fans gathered hours before the game to protest the ongoing ICE raids in Los Angeles, holding signs and chanting "ICE out of LA" in the Dodgers' signature font. One sign read "No ICE in LA" on a local news station.

In a statement, the Dodgers organization confirmed that the agents were denied entry, stating, "This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight's game will be played as scheduled."

The Department of Homeland Security responded, stating that the agents were in the stadium parking lot briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts recently addressed the ongoing ICE activity, calling the situation "unsettling" during a press conference.

The sighting of ICE at Dodger Stadium comes days after Nezza performed the Spanish-language version of the National Anthem at the Los Angeles Dodgers game on June 14, against the team's wishes.
