Tom Sandoval, the Vanderpump Rules alum, is shaking off his bad boy image and stepping into the spotlight as he auditions for America's Got Talent with his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras. The episode is set to air on Tuesday, June 24.
Sandoval, 42, made headlines in March 2023 after his affair with Vanderpump Rules costar Rachel "Raquel" Leviss came to light, ending his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix. The scandal, dubbed Scandoval, left many fans feeling betrayed and angry.
However, Sandoval is now ready to show the world a different side of himself. "My name is Tom Sandoval, I was the most hated man in America," he says ahead of his audition. "This is the chance to show who I am as a musician."
In a clip shared by AGT's Instagram, Sandoval takes the stage with his band, delivering an upbeat performance of "Take on Me" by A-ha. He's dressed to impress in a sparkly emerald jacket, black pants, and sneakers, and his energy is infectious.

Judges Simon Cowell, SofĂa Vergara, and Mel B watch on with skeptical looks initially, but Simon eventually cracks a smile towards the end as Sandoval continues dancing around the stage. He also gets the crowd hyped up when he hits multiple high notes throughout his performance.
While Sandoval ends the audition with the crowd on their feet, fans will have to wait until June 22 to find out what the judges thought and if he'll move on to the next round.
This isn't Sandoval's first time in the spotlight since the scandal. He appeared on judge Howie Mandel's podcast, Howie Mandel Does Stuff, in April 2023 to set the record straight and share his side of the situation.
