Robert Irwin, the 21-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin, shared a heartwarming moment on Instagram on June 22. The young wildlife conservationist was on a flight when he stumbled upon his dad's adventure-comedy film, The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, on the in-flight movie selection.
Robert captioned the post, "When the in-flight movie selection is elite," and gave a happy thumbs-up as he panned the camera back to himself. The film, released in 2002, stars Steve Irwin and his wife Terri Irwin as themselves.
Robert's sister, Bindi Irwin, commented on the post, saying, "The best." Fans also appreciated the sentimental moment, with one person writing, "Just a boy. On a flight with his dad," and another saying, "Blessed to still be able to see his dad doing his thing."
This isn't the first time Robert has shared a fond memory of his dad. In February, he appeared on an Australian talk show, The Project, where he shared one of his earliest memories of his wildlife conservationist father. He recalled how his dad would take him and his sister Bindi on a motorbike ride around the zoo, getting ice cream along the way.
Robert has also spoken about his father's legacy, saying that he hopes to carry forward his passion for wildlife conservation. He has been involved in various conservation projects and has also modeled for an Australian underwear brand, Bonds.
