Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's whirlwind romance has been making headlines since early 2024, and the singer recently confirmed her engagement to the actor in June. But despite the excitement, the couple is in no rush to plan their wedding.

A source close to the couple tells PEOPLE that Lipa, 29, and Turner, 35, are "deeply connected" and enjoying their engagement bubble. "Dua is absolutely head over heels for Callum, and they've talked seriously about their future together, including marriage," the source reveals. "But they just recently got engaged and are still very much in that celebratory bubble. They haven't even really begun the wedding planning process yet."

Lipa confirmed the engagement in her British Vogue cover story, following months of speculation after fans spotted a sparkling ring in a Christmas Eve Instagram post. The ring, custom-made with help from Lipa's sister and best friends, has left her "obsessed."

The couple, who met at London's River Cafe, have kept much of their relationship private, but have shared glimpses of their romance on social media. They were first romantically linked in early 2024 and went public in subtle fashion at an Apple TV+ afterparty in January.

As Lipa continues her Radical Optimism world tour, Turner is busy with his own projects, including his lead role in the sci-fi series Neuromancer and the 2025 film Atropia. Despite their demanding schedules, the couple is taking things at their own pace. "They're taking things at their own pace and that's exactly how they want it," the source adds.

Lipa has admitted to British Vogue that she hasn't made it to the planning stage yet, saying, "I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period." It seems the couple is content to bask in their engagement glow for now.
