Cashel Barnett, a 31-year-old reality TV personality, has been charged with three additional felonies in relation to an alleged incident that occurred in late 2024. Barnett, who appeared on Love Island USA, now faces a total of five felony counts in Utah.
The new charges include first-degree aggravated sexual assault, third-degree aggravated assault, and third-degree domestic violence in the presence of a child. This comes after Barnett was previously charged with two felonies - aggravated assault and domestic violence - in May for an alleged incident that happened in April.
According to the police report, the alleged victim accused Barnett of forcefully pressing her against a couch, causing her to lose consciousness from not being able to breathe. Once she regained consciousness, Barnett allegedly sat her up, slapped her across the face, and raped her. The victim claimed that Barnett stopped assaulting her once she grabbed the young child who was crying in the room.
Barnett's attorney, Andrew K. Deesing, has released a statement denying any wrongdoing and stating that Barnett looks forward to his day in court.
Previous Charges

The alleged victim reported experiencing various physical and emotional injuries, including difficulty breathing, a raspy voice, coughing, trouble swallowing, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, agitation, amnesia, memory loss, visual changes, and a headache.
