Serena Williams Playfully Teases Simone Biles Over Vacation Footage: 'Jealous?'

Serena Williams is having a little fun at the expense of her friend and fellow Olympian Simone Biles. The tennis star posted a video on her Instagram Stories showing off the serene blue waters from her family's vacation boat ride, captioning it "Jealous?" and tagging Biles.

Biles responded with a repost of the video, writing "girllllllllllll yes" followed by a broken heart and crying emoji, and then "just you wait." The exchange is just another example of the playful banter between the two athletic superstars.

A Bond Born from Athletics

The friendship between Williams and Biles continues to grow, with the pair attending the 2025 Met Gala together alongside Biles' husband Jonathan Owens. The two Olympians share a passion for athletics, which has brought them closer together.

In 2024, Biles even met Williams' daughter Olympia Ohanian at the Gold Over America Tour. Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian wrote about the encounter on Instagram, saying "I had to take S & Jr to see @simonebiles' Gold Over America Tour. Packed house. Awesome night. Don't miss it if they're coming to your town."

Ohanian continued, "And thank you Simone and @jordanchiles for absolutely making Olympia's MONTH 🤩 I bought all the merch I could and even tried making this morning's pancake look like Olympia in one of her new leotards - sorry babygirl, photorealism is hard 😂😂 and the batter was too runny today."

Earlier this week, Biles looked back on her record-setting Olympic career to mark Olympic Day on June 23. She shared a series of throwback photos from her time on Team USA. Biles has an impressive 11 Olympic medals to her name, the most earned by any U.S. gymnast.
