Elijah Blue Allman's estranged wife, Marieangela King, has made some shocking claims in their ongoing divorce battle. According to court documents filed on June 20, King alleges that Allman's famous mother, Cher, helped fund their "lifestyle" during their 12-year marriage.

In the filing, King, 37, requested spousal support and for her attorney's fees to be covered, claiming that she experienced a high standard of living during their marriage, including traveling in Europe and staying in 5-star hotels, flying first and business class, and having access to private pools, gyms, chefs, maids, and a therapist.

King also listed her occupation as a "singer/songwriter/entertainer, housewife" and claimed that she would need a "minimum of 10 years work" at an "executive level salary" to support herself at the marital standard.

The documents also reveal that King has less than $4,000 in liquid assets to her name. She is requesting $6,500 per month in spousal support to cover basic living expenses and a car, along with $10,000 to hire an attorney.

A rep for Cher did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Allman's Family Ties

Elijah Blue Allman, 48, is the son of Cher and her ex-husband Gregg Allman. He has been married to King since 2013, but she filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences.

In a statement at the time, King said, "We had a beautiful 13-year journey, filled with memories I'll always cherish. I know we'll remain friends, and Elijah will always hold a special place in my heart."

This is not the first time the couple has filed for divorce. King previously filed in 2021, but Allman filed to dismiss it "without prejudice," which was granted in February 2024.

Cher's Support

Cher, 79, has been supportive of her son during this time. In June, Allman was hospitalized after authorities found him "acting erratically." A source told PEOPLE that Cher was doing "everything she can to help her son and help him get well."

King has also shown her support for Allman, saying, "I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him. My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show."
