Dwayne Johnson and Shaquille O'Neal stole the show at the 2025 UFC Hall of Fame induction ceremony on June 26 in Las Vegas. The two sports legends posed for photos together backstage at T-Mobile Arena, alongside actress Emily Blunt.
Johnson, 53, joked that O'Neal, also 53, makes him look like comedian Kevin Hart in the photos. "Got me out here lookin' like Kevin Hart 😂 Love U big brother," Johnson commented on O'Neal's Instagram post. O'Neal replied with a laughing emoji.
The former NBA star shared four photos with Johnson from the event, including two with Blunt, 42, in the halls of the arena, and two more sans Blunt in a VIP lounge. Johnson wore an all-white suit for the event, while O'Neal opted for a grey suit jacket and black pants. Blunt stunned in a bright yellow dress.
O'Neal was in attendance to introduce boxer Vitor Belfort, who he credits with getting him into boxing. In an interview, O'Neal revealed that Belfort approached him during a vacation and offered him tickets to an upcoming fight, sparking his interest in the sport.
Blunt, a new fan of the sport, was also in attendance and spoke about her newfound respect for mixed martial arts after filming The Smashing Machine with Johnson.
Johnson and Blunt paid tribute to Mark Kerr during the evening, with Johnson telling MMA Fighting that it was important to pay tribute to Kerr's life and legacy in the sport.
