Joey Fatone is looking back on the band's biggest moments and sharing which song he thinks fans would have loved more when it first dropped. In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, Fatone reveals that "It Makes Me Ill" is the one song that didn't get as much appreciation as he'd hoped.
"It's a good song, I think, that's always a fun song to do or even listen to and stuff like that, and it should have been maybe been out more on the forefront," he says with a laugh. "But hey, can't have all the bangers out like that, can we?"
Fatone is proud to have "told stories" with the songs *NSYNC put out into the world. He reminisces about the concepts of the videos they made back in the day, which he believes are making a comeback.
"People are starting to come back to doing fun and entertaining and very sometimes comical music videos and commercials again, like the Red Lobster [video] that we're doing right now," he says. "It's great. It's awesome."
Fatone also shares that his favorite music video to make with his *NSYNC bandmates Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, Justin Timberlake, and JC Chasez was also "the most grueling one."
"For 'It's Gonna Be Me,' when we were dressed up as those little dolls, we were in makeup literally 24 hours, but it was just really cool because we had different things that were really life-size," he explains. "There was these shelves that were in the video and it looks like it was all green screen, but no, they were real shelves."
Fatone is currently partnering with Red Lobster to celebrate the brand's new $19.99 3-Course Shrimp Sensation.
