The 'Today' show family, past and present, is rallying around Sheinelle Jones' husband Uche Ojeh's death, who passed away at 45 after an aggressive brain cancer diagnosis.
Savannah Guthrie announced the sad news on the May 23 broadcast, and Jones shared a clip from the show to her Instagram, thanking her colleagues for their "love and support."
In the comments section, her former co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Tamron Hall were among those who expressed their love. Kotb wrote, "Holding you and your babies Sheinelle," while Hall wrote, "My prayers and love are with you and your family."
Today alum Katie Couric also shared her own post for Jones, writing that she's "sending so much love, support, and sympathy to @sheinelle_o following the loss of her beloved husband Uche after a valiant struggle with glioblastoma."
"My heart is breaking for her and their three children. Please hold them in your hearts. Love you Sheinelle," Couric added.
Guthrie and Dylan Dreyer also offered their condolences again to Jones in the comments of her post, with Guthrie calling Ojeh "an extraordinary person" who was "full of light and heart and faith."
Sheinelle Jones and her three kids, Kayin, 15, and 12-year-old twins Clara and Uche, were married for 18 years prior to his death.
