Omarosa Manigault Newman, a former contestant on The Apprentice, has achieved a major milestone in her life. She has successfully graduated from Southern University Law Center with a law degree and Master of Business Administration degrees. Omarosa shared her excitement and pride on social media, calling it "a culmination of a promise I made to myself."

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Omarosa shared her journey, saying, "Graduating with my JD/MBA degree is a culmination of a promise I made to myself — to never give up on my dreams." She added, "It's deeply personal for me in terms of the power of perseverance. I set this goal, and no matter how long it took me, I saw it through to the end."

Omarosa's journey to law school was not easy. She had to balance her studies with her work in entertainment. She celebrated her graduation on Instagram, writing, "Fun Times!" alongside a picture of her in a cap and gown with her mom, Theresa.

The reality star has been recognized for her perseverance and dedication. Southern University Law Center praised Omarosa for "exemplifying leadership as President of the SULC Rotaract chapter and Senior Editor of the Journal of International Law, Business & Policy."

Omarosa plans to use her law degree to advocate for justice in every field she touches. She will be sharpening her litigation and trial skills at The Cochran Firm this summer. She looks up to the late Johnnie Cochran and the impact he made in the community and courtroom.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian also celebrated finishing her Law Office Study Program. Omarosa congratulated Kim, saying, "I can attest that legal studies are difficult and very demanding, so I applaud Kim for choosing her path and not giving up on her dream."
