The Hocus Pocus star's husband, Kristopher Gifford, has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. According to court documents, the couple's official date of separation is listed as October 25, 2023.

Gifford is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son, Jack, and is not seeking spousal support. The graphic designer listed their marriage date as November 20, 2007, meaning their split came just a month shy of their 16th anniversary.

Representatives for Shaw did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Saturday, May 24.
