Machine Gun Kelly made a brief appearance at the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 26, 2025. The 35-year-old rapper walked the red carpet, posing for photos before leaving the event early to take care of his 2-month-old daughter, whom he shares with Megan Fox. MGK told E! News that his daughter has a fever, and he needed to go home to care for her.

"She's great," MGK said. "She has a little bit of a fever, so I'm gonna just walk the carpet and go back, you know what I mean, and handle my business. Give her my pheromones, and let her heal up."

The rapper, who also has a 15-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon, expressed his excitement about being a dad, saying, "I was born to be a dad. Yeah, it's my purpose."

MGK was initially scheduled to present one of the awards during the 2025 AMAs at the luxury resort Fontainebleau Las Vegas. However, his priority shifted to his newborn daughter, whom he and Fox welcomed in March.
