The highly anticipated HBO series adaptation of J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter books has finally found its new trio of young stars to play the iconic roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.
According to an announcement made by HBO on Tuesday, May 27, newcomers Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout have been cast as Harry, Hermione, and Ron, respectively. The trio will be inheriting the roles previously played by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint in the film franchise.

Showrunner Francesca Gardiner and executive producer Mark Mylod expressed their delight in finding the perfect actors for the roles, stating that they were "delighted to announce we have found our Harry, Hermione, and Ron" following an "extraordinary search" for the iconic roles.
The trio joins a slate of stars who were previously cast in other beloved Wizarding World roles, including John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Professor Minerva McGonagall, and Paapa Essiedu as Professor Severus Snape.
