Country music singer Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren Bushnell Lane, are thrilled to announce that they are expecting their third child this November! The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a joint reel from their recent Florida beach vacation.

The new addition will join the couple's two sons, Baker West, 2½, and Dutton Walker, who will turn 4 in early June. In an interview with PEOPLE in December 2024, Lauren expressed her gratitude for their two "little roaring dinosaurs," stating that they are the focus of both her and Chris' lives.

Lauren also opened up about the challenges of adjusting to motherhood, saying, "I do feel like when we first had children, that was the hardest for me. There was this mourning of the life that we had built together. I was so happy because we had these beautiful children, but then all the things that made us fall in love, and the things we enjoyed doing together kind of had to take a back seat. And that was really hard, especially the first two, probably three years."

Chris also spoke with PEOPLE in January 2023 about competing in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and shared his thoughts on expanding their family. At the time, he said he didn't see them expanding their family again and joked that he hoped it wouldn't happen soon.

However, it seems that Lauren's desire for a girl might have prevailed! The soon-to-be mom of three poked fun at Kylie Jenner's decision to legally change her son's name from Wolf to Aire after his first birthday, saying, "I'm just having a Kylie Jenner moment, you know, changing my son's name."

Lauren also revealed that they had changed their younger son's middle name ahead of his first birthday, from Baker Weston to Baker West.
