Leighton Meester, who played the iconic character Blair Waldorf in the hit CW show 'Gossip Girl,' is reminiscing about one of the most memorable moments in the series - the first kiss between her character and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley).

In a recent segment of Bustle's "Icons Only" series, Meester revisited the season 4, episode 17 scene where Dan suggests they should kiss to see if their relationship is strictly platonic or something more."

The banter between the two characters leading up to the kiss is what Meester enjoyed the most, calling it "cute."

"I did like that. There was banter, but it was more like, they were keeping a secret... just... it's cute," Meester said after watching the clip.

In other news, Meester has been working on her upcoming role in season 2 of Netflix's 'Nobody Want This,' a rom-com series starring her husband Adam Brody, and Kristen Bell, who narrated 'Gossip Girl.'

During her recent interview with Bustle, Meester explained why she's more selective with her projects, citing her priorities as a mother of two.

"It's been really, very lovely to do a couple of shows where there is that feeling of: there could be a future there," she said. "But I don't know."
