Country star Chris Lane and his wife, social media influencer Lauren Bushnell Lane, are expecting their third child, and they couldn't be more joyful about it! The couple, already parents of two rambunctious boys, Dutton, 4, and Baker, 2½, discovered the news when Lauren found out she was pregnant this year.

Lauren, 35, laughed as she recalled the moment, saying, "Needless to say, cycle tracking isn't the most effective thing. But clearly, I'm just gonna go with the belief that it was meant to be, and this little human being is meant to be on this earth. I'm kind of glad that we didn't have to make the decision. It was just decided for us."

The Couple's Reaction

Chris, 40, whose new album, Shade Tree, comes out June 20, joked about being "exhausted just thinking about having a newborn" but is thrilled about becoming a family of five in November. Lauren, on the other hand, is looking forward to possibly having a little girl join the family, saying it would be nice to have some "softening of the testosterone that's swirling around our toddlers right now."

While Chris admits he'd be a little nervous if they were having a girl, he's excited to find out. Lauren, who's already experienced morning sickness, is just happy to have a healthy baby.

Preparing for the New Arrival

The couple is grateful that they don't have to prepare much for the new arrival, as their two boys have recently decided to share a bedroom, which means they already have a crib and everything they need. Lauren notes that the nursery is pretty gender-neutral, so they won't have to do much to prepare for the baby's arrival.

As they await the arrival of their third child, Chris says they're soaking up their time as a family of four and savoring their roles as parents. Lauren adds that motherhood has "grounded her and re-centered her" and has brought her back down to what really matters in life.
