Law & Order Star Odelya Halevi Marries Aaron Mazor in 'Fairy Tale' Wedding in Israel

Odelya Halevi, the 36-year-old Israeli actress, has tied the knot with luxury real estate agent Aaron Mazor in a stunning destination wedding at Ronit Farm in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Friday, May 30.

Halevi, who plays Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun in the Law & Order franchise, told PEOPLE that getting married in Israel, where she was born and raised, felt "natural" and that the country holds "cherished memories" for her.

The wedding, which was attended by 180 guests, was a multi-day celebration that included a henna-themed welcome reception, hosted by the bride and groom, on Thursday, May 29.

Halevi wore a dress by Dror Kontento for the reception, which she described as having a "desert vibe" that honored her Middle Eastern heritage.

For the ceremony, Halevi chose two different dresses by Israeli designer Lihi Hod, who she met in New York City and immediately knew was "the one" for her big day.

The couple exchanged handwritten vows in a ceremony officiated by a rabbi and included the Jewish tradition of breaking a glass. They plan to keep the glass fragments and create something beautiful out of them.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds treated their guests to a buffet featuring local delicacies and seven different desserts, including a wedding cake.

The wedding weekend wrapped up on Saturday afternoon with a casual gathering at the Hilton Bayz Beach Club, where Halevi wore a sheer beach cover-up with sparkly silver detailing by Shani Shemer.

The newlyweds are now looking forward to sharing life's adventures together, including a honeymoon in Africa, where they will go on a gorilla trek in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park and then head to Tanzania to witness the Great Migration across the Serengeti>
