Former First Lady Michelle Obama has announced that she will publish a new book, 'The Look,' this fall, documenting her style evolution over the years.
The book, set to be released on November 4, is a visual journey that includes over 200 photographs, many never before seen, tracing Obama's fashion trajectory from her time in the White House and beyond.
In the book's foreword, Obama writes, "It's time for me to reclaim my story - what fashion and beauty mean to me - in my own words."
Obama's stylist, Meredith Koop, co-authored the book, which also features insights from influential people in her style journey, including makeup artist Carl Ray, hairstylists Yene Damtew and Nejeri Radway, and designers she's worked with over time.
The book is an attempt by Obama to reclaim her narrative, after years of people commenting on her looks and dissecting her clothing choices during her time in the White House.
In addition to 'The Look,' Obama is also the author of the bestselling 2018 memoir 'Becoming' and its 2022 follow-up, 'The Light We Carry in Uncertain Times.'
'The Look' is now available for pre-order, wherever books are sold.
