The View cohost, Sunny Hostin, revealed that she almost broke up with her now-husband Emmanuel because she thought he was too short.

Hostin's best friend, Regina Jansen, convinced her otherwise, saying Emmanuel could "stand on his medical degree" and that would make him tall enough". This piece of advice from her friend made her change her mind and eventually marry Emmanuel in 1998>

In a recent episode of The View, Hostin shared this story, saying that her friend's advice was a game-changer for her. She also added that she listens to her close friends and values their opinions.

Sunny Hostin and her husband have been married for over 23 years now, and they have two children together. Their love story began when they met at a church in Maryland, and Sunny followed him to a bagel shop after the service to strike up a conversation.
