The Brady Bunch cast members have had many opportunities to reunite since the show's conclusion in 1974, but one reunion stands out as their favorite.

A Very Brady Renovation

In 2019, all six siblings reunited for HGTV's A Very Brady Renovation, and it was a memorable experience for them. "That was probably the number-one best reunion show, in my book," said Christopher Knight, who played Peter Brady.

The cast members, including Barry Williams (Greg Brady), Mike Lookinland (Bobby Brady), Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady), Eve Plumb (Jan Brady), and Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady), enjoyed the experience of reuniting without playing their characters. "We weren't playing characters. We were ourselves," noted Barry Williams.

A Special Reunion

The cast members appreciated the opportunity to reflect on their characters and experiences on the show. "We were reflecting on the characters," said Barry Williams, with Christopher Knight adding, "And doing something very real ... as opposed to faking it."

The reunion was also special because it marked the first time the cast members had visited the Brady house together. While the house was just a photograph or video used as an establishment during the show's run, the cast members had never worked there. "I deliberately had never been there because as a child ... it couldn't possibly be the Brady House," said Susan Olsen.

Transforming the House

The HGTV series transformed the interior of the house to appear more like the soundstage that stood in for it during the show's run. "Now it's very much the Brady House," said Christopher Knight. "It's amazing."

The cast members were thrilled to see the house transformed into the iconic Brady home. "It's a house! We worked on a set. So it's better than what it was. It's kind of wild. We took something ... we made something real out of something that was a fantasy," said Barry Williams.
