Dave Navarro is speaking out about the future of Jane's Addiction, and it's not looking good. In a recent interview with Guitar Player, Navarro revealed that there's "no chance" that the band will reunite after Perry Farrell threw a punch at him onstage during a September 2024 gig in Boston.

Navarro, 57, described the band's situation as "still very tender and unresolved" following the altercation. "There was an altercation onstage, and all the hard work and dedication and writing and hours in the studio, and picking up and leaving home and crisscrossing the country and Europe and trying to overcome my illness — it all came to a screeching halt and forever destroyed the band's life," he told Guitar Player.

Navarro added that the Boston show was his "least favorite gig." "We weren't competitive with each other — we were getting along," he recalled. "There was no ego issue; it was just four guys making great music, just like we did in the beginning."

The band's reunion tour ended abruptly after Farrell's onstage outburst, and the remainder of the tour was canceled. In a statement, the band announced that refunds for the canceled dates would be issued at the point of purchase.

Navarro also shared a separate statement, signed by him and bandmates Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery, but not Farrell. The statement expressed concern for Farrell's mental health difficulties and the band's own safety.

Farrell later addressed the incident, apologizing to his bandmates, fans, family, and friends for his actions during the show.
