Jelly Roll surprised the crowd at his Detroit concert by bringing out none other than Eminem to perform the iconic 2002 song together. The rapper took the stage for the final verse with Jelly for an electric performance of the 2002 song.
Jelly, 40, began performing Eminem's classic "Lose Yourself." The rapper, 52, then took the stage for the final verse with Jelly for an electric performance of the 2002 song.
"Detroit, what up?! Make some noise for Jelly Roll!" Eminem told the audience before exiting the stage. "Long time, no see. I love y'all. Peace!"
Following Eminem's surprise appearance, Jelly said, "If you can't tell, that was a childhood dream come f------ true, Detroit. This is the greatest show I've ever had in my f------ life." He added that Slim Shady's music helped him "through the darkest moments of my life."
Eminem and Jelly Roll's Past Collaboration
Jelly and Eminem previously collaborated for the 2024 song "Somebody Save Me" from the rapper's 2024 LP The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de GrĂ¢ce).
Upon releasing their 2024 collaboration, Jelly raved about Slim Shady. "I always say my childhood heroes lived somewhere between Willie Nelson and Eminem. As a teenager (and still today) I could recite every song on the Slim Shady album, the Marshal Mathers album and the Eminem show," he wrote on Instagram in July.
Upcoming Tour Dates for Jelly and Post Malone
Jelly and Malone, 29, are set to perform in Minneapolis, Chicago before hitting other North American cities throughout June. They will wrap up the Big Ass Stadium Tour on July 1 at San Francisco's Oracle Park.
