Molly Yeh, star of Food Network's "Girl Meets Farm," has joined forces with Rebel Girls to release a new cookbook, "Rebel Girls Make Dessert." The book features over 80 kid-friendly recipes, including contributions from renowned chefs Joanne Chang, Nadiya Hussain, Deb Perelman, and more.
The cookbook is designed for young chefs of all skill levels, from seasoned pros to first-time cooks. Each recipe includes step-by-step photos and instruction sidebars to guide young chefs through the process.
"Rebel Girls Make Dessert" aims to empower young girls to try new techniques, find confidence in the kitchen, and develop their own unique recipes. The book also includes personal stories and recipes from influential women in history, making it a richer learning experience.
Molly Yeh shared her thoughts on the project, "It's important to learn how to follow recipes, but it's also important to practice flexing your creativity and bake up something that's unique to you and your tastebuds. I also wanted to show that there are really fun careers that involve cooking but are outside of working in a restaurant kitchen, such as being a recipe developer. It's never too soon to start developing your own recipes!"
Rebel Girls is a multi-platform brand that aims to empower and inspire young girls through created content, products, and experiences. Since its launch in 2024, Rebel Girls has engaged with over 40 million young girls globally, selling over 11 million books in 62 languages.
