Jonathan Groff gave a bold performance at the 2025 Tony Awards, venturing out into the audience during his "Just in Time" musical number and straddling his The Matrix Resurrections costar Keanu Reeves.

Groff, 40, leaped into the A-list crowd with one leg on either side of Reeves, 60, while performing a medley of songs from the show about the life and career of singer Bobby Darin, including "Mack the Knife," "That's All," and "Once in a Lifetime."

The Tony winner stood on the armrests of the John Wick star's seat, playing to the audience behind him. Reeves, meanwhile, was shown from between Groff's legs, cheering along and even flashing two rock and roll signs to the camera.

Groff is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Bobby Darin in the Broadway musical, alongside Darren Criss, Andrew Durand, Tom Francis, James Monroe Iglehart, and Jeremy Jordan.

The new bio-musical, directed by Alex Timbers, received a total of six nominations. Groff previously starred on Broadway in the original casts of Spring Awakening, Hamilton, and last season's revival of Merrily We Roll Along, for which he nabbed his first Tony Award.

Reeves, who is presenting at the award show, is set to make his Broadway debut in the upcoming revival of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, alongside his Bill & Ted costar Alex Winter.
