NHL star Patrik Laine has officially become a married man! The Montreal Canadiens winger tied the knot with his longtime love, Jordan Smith, in a stunning ceremony at the historic Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
A 'Timeless' Celebration
The couple exchanged vows in front of 115 guests, including many of Laine's current and former teammates. The wedding was a beautiful blend of their contrasting styles, with Smith describing it as "everything I could have dreamed of on steroids."
A Personalized Ceremony
The ceremony, officiated by Laine's close family friend Antti Makinen, took place in the Gold Room at The Breakers. The couple exchanged handwritten vows, which Laine described as a way to "give guests a special window into our relationship and make the ceremony a lot more emotional."
A Fashionable Affair
Smith stunned in a Galia Lahav "Evelyn" dress, featuring a ball gown silhouette with an exposed bone corset, illusion side panels, and intricate Spanish florals embroidery. Laine, meanwhile, designed his own flashy wedding tux with a designer he uses for his NHL looks.
A Fun-Filled Reception
The reception featured a multi-course dinner, a custom ice cream sundae, and a five-tier wedding cake with a vintage bride-and-groom topper. The couple also surprised their guests with a choreographed dance routine to Kygo's acoustic version of "Woke Up in Love."
After the wedding, the newlyweds jetted off to Italy for a romantic honeymoon. Congratulations to the happy couple!
