This week's episode of Sister Wives gave fans an inside look at Garrison Brown's private funeral service in Wyoming. The emotional episode showed the Brown family gathering to say their final goodbyes to Garrison, who passed away in March 2025 at the age of 25.
The funeral service was held at the Penrose Cemetery in Byron, Wyoming, where Garrison was laid to rest beside his relatives, including his grandmother Cheryl.
In a title card before the footage of the service, it was noted that "at the family's request, cameras were positioned at a distance during the burial to respect their privacy."
Janelle Brown, Garrison's mother, spoke to the cameras, admitting she was "just kind of numb" and didn't "really have any feelings" as she prepared for the tragic moment.
Meri Brown, another wife of Kody Brown, separately said, "It's just one of those things that you just wonder, how did we get here? It's just nothing but sad and heartbreaking."

Kody Brown, Garrison's father, noted that "there's going to be some awkwardness still" heading into the service due to the larger family estrangement.
Mitch Thompson, the husband of Christine Brown's daughter Aspyn Thompson, built an urn shaped like a Viking ship, as Garrison was intrigued by Norse culture.
Leading the service was Kody's brother-in-law, Tim, who wore a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. Kody explained that Garrison had a business idea called Bob's Floral, which was inspired by Hawaiian shirts.
Tim gave a heartfelt speech, saying that "the key thing I took away from Garrison in life was we're always going to find a way to cut up on something."
Garrison's family and friends also spoke at the service, sharing their memories and grief.
At the end of the service, Kody shared a dream he had where Garrison told him to stop listening to sad music.
The episode ended with Janelle saying, "He's finally at rest. This part of the journey is finished."
