Rising country music star Gavin Adcock was arrested on Wednesday, May 21, in Wilson County, Tennessee, for alleged reckless driving and violating the state's open container laws.
The 26-year-old Georgia native was taken into custody by the Tennessee Highway Patrol after being pulled over on Interstate 40 at mile marker 229.
According to reports, Adcock was charged with reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. He posted a $1,000 bond and was released at approximately 4:34 a.m. on Thursday, May 22.
Recent Success and Past Arrest
Adcock recently performed at the kickoff for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards held in Frisco, Texas, and walked the carpet with his influencer girlfriend Haley Larkin on May 8.
The country crooner has been making waves in the music industry, having recently reached a milestone of passing 1 billion total streams on Spotify. He also performed a sold-out concert in Nashville on May 16 at the Pinnacle.
However, this is not Adcock's first run-in with the law. He was arrested in 2023 for driving without a suspended license, which he shared on social media at the time.
