Shayne Jansen, a star of Netflix's hit dating show Love Is Blind, has announced his split from Julie Theis, an alum of The Trust, in a post shared to his Instagram Stories.

The 36-year-old reality TV star wrote over a black screen, "Julie and I have decided to go our separate ways. I hate that I even have to make this post but that's the reality of the world I live in." Jansen added that he won't be speaking further on the matter, stating that sharing details about personal matters rarely helps anyone.

The news comes after the former couple hard-launched their relationship on Instagram in October 2024, sharing several loved-up photos on the social media platform. Among the photos were shots of the pair posing for a selfie and smiling sweetly for the camera. A second photo showed Theis wrapping her arms lovingly around Jansen while wearing a blue mini dress and heels, posing with one leg in the air.

Jansen was previously engaged to his Love Is Blind costar Natalie Mina Lee after starring on the second season of the hit Netflix dating show. Meanwhile, Theis dated fellow The Trust star Jake Chocholous but told the Daily Mail in January that the pair had called it quits.
