Farmer Matt Warren and Chelsi Davis are giving an exclusive look at their long-distance romance nearly eight months after wrapping up filming on the popular reality show "Farmer Wants a Wife". In an interview with PEOPLE, the couple shares how they're navigating their love story off-camera.
Adjusting to Long-Distance Romance
According to Matt, 30, and Chelsi, 29, they're not together all the time, but the time they do spend together is "great". Matt says, "The distance has been a little bit challenging, obviously, to spend more time together." Chelsi agrees, adding that it "still feels so surreal."
In the season 3 finale, he chose Chelsi over Jordyn, 32. Matt remembers being "very interested" in Chelsi from the start and believed she was "The One" from that point on. Chelsi shares that they both knew there was something special from the beginning, and off-camera moments helped deepen their bond. Matt reveals that there were "a couple of secret make-outs off to the side" that helped solidify their connection.
Future Plans
As for moving in together, Chelsi notes that they haven't had that discussion yet, but they do have trips planned for the summer. Matt says he's always known he wanted to be married and start a family, but doesn't want to rush things. Chelsi agrees, saying they're taking things one day at a time.
