Kelly Clarkson has spilled the beans about a fellow American Idol alum's obsession with organization, revealing that his refrigerator looks like it belongs to a "serial killer."

The singer, who won the first season of American Idol, made the humorous comment while chatting with the cast of Ballerina. Norman Reedus, who previously worked as a cleaner, shared that he's still particular about keeping things tidy. Clarkson then recalled a friend who takes organization to the next level.

"He looked like a serial killer with his refrigerator," Clarkson said, revealing that the friend was none other than Clay Aiken, another American Idol alum.

Clarkson confessed that she used to mess with him by rearranging the contents of his fridge, which she described as being "so organized and perfect." She joked that her prank did mess with Aiken, but asserted that his refrigerator did look like it belonged to a serial killer.

Clarkson and Aiken have remained friends since their American Idol days. In December 2024, Aiken appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she momentarily forgot that he didn't win his season of the singing competition show. He gently reminded her that he was the runner-up of season 2.

Aiken later joked that Ruben Studdard, the winner of season 2, will certainly contact him about Clarkson's mix-up.
