Brit Eady, a star of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, has dropped a shocking claim about the explicit photos that led to Kenya Moore's exit from the show. The photos, which were displayed by Moore at her hair spa opening in June 2024, were presumed to be of Eady, but she has now revealed that they were not.
Eady addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories, stating, "The events of this season have devastated me, and while I cannot say much right now, I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic sexual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5. That photo was not me." She continued, "As the episode makes clear, I did not see the photo at the time. Rather, I was made aware of the photo being presented at the event, and based on what I was told, assumed that it was somehow a photo of me - which is why I reacted in the way that I did."
Eady also revealed that she did not attend the season 16 reunion, which was filmed on Thursday, June 5. She claimed that she was not invited to attend, and that she was looking forward to seeking accountability and moving past the situation.
Moore was investigated and eventually removed from the series after displaying the explicit photos, which were presumed to be of Eady. However, Eady has now denied that the photos were of her, leaving many to wonder who the person in the photos actually is.
Kenya Moore's Side of the Story
Moore had previously claimed that she was retaliating against Eady after Eady allegedly threatened her with a gun during an explosive confrontation caught on camera. However, a second insider close to the show insisted that "at no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production."
Moore eventually apologized for her actions, stating that she was "sorry" for what she'd done, and that she "didn't have to take it that far."
The Fallout
The situation has led to a lot of drama and tension between Eady and Moore, with both women taking to social media to share their sides of the story. The situation has also led to Moore's exit from the show, with sources stating that she was "not invited" to attend the season 16 reunion.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo, and streams the next day on Peacock. The reunion is expected to premiere this summer.
