Marshall Glaze, a star of season 4 of Love Is Blind, has bravely shared his struggles with mental health, revealing that he contemplated taking his own life during a particularly dark period last year.
In a candid conversation on the "What's the Reality?" podcast, Glaze admitted that he had reached a point where he wanted to end his life. "Last year was just very tough for me mentally, and I was going to take my own life," he said.
Glaze, who got engaged to Chay Barnes on the show but later broke up, described feeling overwhelmed and depressed, saying that even his favorite things couldn't lift his mood. "I knew I had a problem when, this particular time I talked to my mom, I was okay with that being the last time I talked to her," he said.
He recalled going for a walk in the rain, wearing a cut-off t-shirt, basketball shorts, and a pair of slides, and realizing that he wanted to live. "I walked around the Space Needle, came around back to my apartment, and I'm like, 'I want to live,'" he said.
Glaze hopes that sharing his story will help others who may be struggling with similar thoughts. "I hope that someone out there can resonate with that and choose life," he said.
