Julia Roberts, 57, has reunited with Notting Hill director Richard Curtis, 68, to celebrate his daughter Scarlett's 30th birthday. The actress, who starred alongside Hugh Grant in the 1999 romantic comedy, has remained close friends with Curtis over the years.
In a sweet gesture, Curtis revealed that Roberts turned up at his house on the day of the film's premiere with a little blanket she had knitted on set with Scarlett's name on it. She even went to Scarlett's nursery school to give it to her in person.
The reunion comes after Curtis revealed last year that Roberts had turned down his idea for a sequel to Notting Hill, where the characters would get divorced. Roberts had expressed her reservations about playing a movie star in the original film, saying it made her uncomfortable.
Roberts and Curtis have remained close friends over the years, and the actress even attended Scarlett's 30th birthday party, where they sang Carole King's "You've Got a Friend" together.
