A recent report claiming that Keith Urban abruptly ended an interview with Australian radio show hosts Hayley & Max in the Morning after being asked about his wife Nicole Kidman's intimate movie scenes has been debunked.

A source close to the country singer has confirmed to PEOPLE that Urban did not hang up on the hosts, and that the incident was "a complete nothingburger."

The controversy arose when Urban was asked about his thoughts on Kidman's romantic scenes with Zac Efron in the 2024 movie A Family Affair. Urban responded politely, but the call was soon disconnected, leading the hosts to speculate that Urban's team had hung up on them.

However, the source insists that Urban is a "very easygoing" interview subject and did not take issue with the question.

Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, have been married since 2006 and celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary last month. They are parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14.
