The wait is almost over for Zootopia fans! Disney has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Zootopia 2, nearly a decade after the Oscar-winning original film hit theaters in 2016.

According to a synopsis, this time Officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) "find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De'Snake (Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down."

"To crack the case, they must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before."

  • Fortune Feimster and Quinta Brunson will also be joining the cast of voice actors, with Shakira reprising her role as Gazelle from the 2016 original.
  • Shakira announced she'll be taking her talents back to Zootopia in a D23Brasil announcement in November, saying "She's got a new look, a new song and of course, new dance moves... Just wait until you see what she and her tiger dancers have been working on. I know you're going to love it."

Director Jared Bush, who also wrote the script, said in a statement, "We are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to the outrageous, expansive animal metropolis of Zootopia, and take audiences on a hilarious, wild ride into parts of the city we've never visited before."

Added director Byron Howard, "The trailer features the original song 'ZUTU' by Zootopia's finest lemming techno group, LEMEEENS. Fresh from touring with superstar Gazelle as her opening act, members Hans-Peter, Günther, Spielt and their DJ Spaß created the song to mark the occasion and welcome the world back to the City of Zootopia!"

Zootopia 2 is in theaters Nov. 26.
