Josh Allen, the NFL quarterback, and his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld, are "really excited" about their upcoming wedding, according to a source close to the couple. The Sinners actress, 28, and NFL player, 29, are looking forward to celebrating with family and friends.

"They're really settling into their lives together. They lean on each other, support each other, and collaborate together. They really just enjoy each other a lot," the source added.

This comes after Allen's Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott shared some insight into his star quarterback's mindset heading into his upcoming nuptials with Steinfeld. He told the Associated Press that the quarterback is "as confident and as calm, cool, and collected as he always is."

Allen and Steinfeld have kept the details of their ceremony private, but the pair have shared comments about their upcoming nuptials over the last several months. In March 2025, Steinfeld told PEOPLE that so far, her engagement to Allen has been "such a special time for so many reasons."

"I couldn't be more excited," she added. "I'm so happy — we're so happy — and we're just soaking in every moment."

Steinfeld and Allen started dating in May 2023 and got engaged in November 2024. The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in a joint post showing Allen's romantic sunset proposal.

Following the news of their engagement, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that their families are excited about the engagement news. "They've been head over heels from the start," the insider said. "Their families are thrilled."
