New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel has announced that the team will be investigating a viral video of wide receiver Stefon Diggs passing a mystery substance to women on a yacht. The video, which has sparked controversy, shows Diggs, 31, passing a small bag of what appears to be a pink, crystallized substance to three women.

Vrabel, 49, spoke to reporters on Wednesday, May 28, stating that any conversations that I've had with Stefon will remain between him, I and the club. He emphasized that the team wants to make great decisions on and off the field.

Diggs was not present at the optional practice on Wednesday, according to reports. PEOPLE has reached out to representatives for Diggs and the Patriots but did not immediately hear back.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs Rumored Romance

The viral video also sparks rumors of a romance between Diggs and rapper Cardi B, 32. The two were seen leaving together after the Met Gala on May 5 and looked cozy sitting courtside at a Knicks playoff game in New York City on May 12.

Cardi B addressed the rumors in an Instagram Live, saying, "The internet is insane. All these rumors are so crazy. That's why I don't want to address it, because this s--- is funny."
