JoJo Siwa has officially confirmed her romance with Chris Hughes, her former Celebrity Big Brother UK costar. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Siwa gushed about their relationship, calling it a "beautiful development" that has left her feeling happier than she has in years.

"It's not platonic anymore, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way," Siwa said, putting an end to speculation about the nature of their relationship.

The 22-year-old singer and actress had previously been in a relationship with Australian actor Kath Ebbs, who identifies as non-binary. The pair announced their breakup shortly after Celebrity Big Brother UK wrapped.

Siwa and Hughes, 32, had been accused of faking their romance for publicity, but Siwa insists that their connection is genuine. "We're not faking a thing," she said, adding that even her family has noticed how much happier she is now than she has been in years.

Siwa also shared that she and Hughes have a very special bond, and that she's never felt as comfortable around one person before. "You know when you're alone, how you feel? You are your true, raw self. I've obviously felt like that before, but never around one single person," she said.

Meanwhile, Hughes has been sharing romantic photos and videos of himself and Siwa on social media, including a recent snap of himself lying shirtless in bed while kissing Siwa on the forehead.
