Justin Baldoni's Body Double Reveals Tense Set of 'It Ends with Us' Amid Blake Lively's Allegations

Justin Baldoni's body double, Thomas Canestraro, has spoken out about the "tense" feelings of "discomfort" on the set of the 2024 romantic drama", amid the director and actor's ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively.

Canestraro, 38, told The Daily Mail that shooting took "longer than expected", leading him to question himself, "What's happening here? Why are we taking so much time to film all of this scene? Why are we not on schedule?"

The actor and boxer also described Lively, 37, as appearing "more closed off" during the filming of 'It Ends with Us', compared to their previous work together on 'A Simple Favor' (2018), where he had "an extremely easy time" with her.

A source tells PEOPLE of the former Gossip Girl star, "It makes sense that she would be closed off given her allegations."

Lively and Baldoni's legal battle began in December 2024, when Lively filed a sexual-harassment complaint against Baldoni, alleging that he engaged in misconduct during the film's production. Baldoni countered with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, alleging extortion, defamation, and more.

Canestraro hopes that the two can find an agreement" and expressed his desire not to take sides, stating, "We don't need that in the industry. At the same time, you can't discredit anybody's feeling[s], and anybody's experience."

Both cases in Lively v. Wayfarer Studios et al. are scheduled to go to trial in March 2026.
