Sara Haines is opening up about the highs and lows of her time co-hosting the third hour of Good Morning America, Strahan, Sara and Keke. In a recent podcast episode, Haines revealed that she "cried every day" due to the pressure of living up to her co-hosts Michael Strahan and Keke Palmer, as well as the changed perception of her after welcoming her third child.

Haines reflected on the "really low point in her career, but shared she had nothing but love for her former co-hosts, Michael Strahan and Keke Palmer. She said she felt "pressure" to live up to her co-hosts, both of whom already made a name for themselves in the industry.

Haines also shared how she felt treated differently after returning to work after welcoming her third child. She said she was presented with segments about being a mom or ones focused on parenting, which she felt was a changed perception about her.

"I hadn't changed. Everyone else projected a change," she continued, adding that she "cried every day" due to this changed perception about her.

Haines said she's able to look back on this time in her career and see it for what it is. "The staff was amazing. I loved Keke and Michael. I mean, talk about laughing until you hurt," she said.

She added that she's able to take away a valuable lesson from her experience. "Every fall you have you take something with you, and I came back with a louder voice," she said. "I heard myself."

Haines has since returned to The View, where she was previously a co-host from 2016 to 2018. She has been back at that famous table since rejoining in 2020.
