Aaron Judge, the captain of the New York Yankees, has been sparkling on the baseball field this season with a noticeable pendant on a silver chain. The secret is out, and the details behind that sparkler Judge has been wearing on the field reveal that the bauble was a gift from his teammate Giancarlo Stanton, worth a whopping $20,000!

The 33-year-old baseball star has been keeping mum about the accessory, but the New York Post has confirmed the details about the stunner, including its sparkly price tag. According to the outlet, the jaw-dropping amount covered the arrangement of VVS-grade diamond count (which totals to more than 12 carats) and the three bands of amethyst, the jeweler confirmed. Everything is set in 14-karat gold.

Stanton also personalized the pendant with nods to Judge's family and stats. Touches include his wife Samantha Bracksieck's name (written as "Sam"), his daughter Nora's name (the couple welcomed their little one on Jan. 27, 2025) as well as the name of his dogs, Gus and Penny. The "2x" also represents the number of MVP awards he's received.

A rose made of rose gold and encrusted with white diamonds adds to the shine. According to the Post, Stanton came into the shop with a request at the beginning of the season for something "custom and nothing too big, something [Judge] can wear during the game."

With his growing influence on the field, Judge has been capturing the attention of fashion's finest, so much so that in 2024 he was tapped by Ralph Lauren to front its fragrance campaigns. In an interview with PEOPLE about his most recent ad, he said his secret to looking fly before a game is picking "outfits that I know I will look and feel good in. Game day is all about comfort and style."

Maintaining his hairstyle is also what adds to his signature appeal. "I see my barber about every two weeks to keep my cut sharp and game-day ready," he dished. "It's all about looking clean and professional."
