The 78th annual Tony Awards ceremony, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, took place on Sunday, June 8, live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The ceremony was broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and streamed on Paramount+, starting at 8 p.m. ET. The nominations across 26 competitive categories were announced on May 1, with three productions leading the pack with 10 nods each: Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, and Maybe Happy Ending.
