Amy Jo Johnson Shares Rare Throwback Photo with Late Co-Star Jason David Frank

Amy Jo Johnson, known for her role as Kimberly Hart, the Pink Power Ranger, on the '90s hit series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, shared a rare throwback photo with her late co-star Jason David Frank, on Instagram.

The photo, which was gifted to Johnson at the Niagara Falls Comic Con earlier this month, shows the two smiling alongside each other. Johnson wrote, "thank you to whoever it was who gave me this photo at Niagara. I miss this guy, as we all do."

Fans in the comments shared their love for the relationship between Johnson's Kimberly and Frank's character, Tommy Oliver.

Johnson previously shared some heartfelt memories in an emotional Instagram Live following the news of Frank's death at 49 by suicide in November 2022. "I just came on here because I was feeling really sad and really it's really hitting home today what had happened and that he's gone," Johnson said through tears.

She continued, "I don't know. I just thought of all of you guys because I know how much you all meant to him and how much you guys are probably in the same amount of pain and so sad."

Before wrapping up the Instagram Live with one final song, Johnson spoke about the importance of seeking help if you need it. "Anybody who is out there who is feeling depressed and like there's no hope, just know that that's not the way and there is help and you do have a community here. Just reach out. Reach out for help if you are feeling like that."
