Nashville royalty gathered to celebrate the marriage of Jamey Johnson and Brittney Eakins at Graystone Quarry in Franklin, Tennessee. The "cowboy black tie" wedding was a nod to their Southern heritage, with 350 guests in attendance, including Randy Travis, Kid Rock, Zac Brown, and Randy Houser.
The ceremony was a private affair, with only close family and friends in attendance. Johnson and Eakins exchanged personalized vows, with a string quartet and two French horn players providing the music. Eakins wore a fit and flare gown from Louisiana-based boutique Natasha Marie Bridal, complete with floral lace appliques and a detachable overskirt.
Johnson, meanwhile, wore a custom three-piece black tuxedo designed by Canali, complete with black Lucchese boots. The wedding party donned black attire, with the 15 bridesmaids wearing different styles of floor-length black gowns and the groomsmen wearing black suits picked out by stylist Jennifer Kemp.
The reception was a lively affair, with three different types of sliders, blackberry moonshine margaritas, and a signature cocktail created by the bride herself. There was even a surprise groom's cake, a full-scale replica of Johnson's beloved guitar, Maple.
The couple's first dance was to Chris LeDoux's "Look at You Girl," performed live by ERNEST. The rest of the reception was filled with music from Party on the Moon.
Johnson and Eakins met in 2019 at Gov. Tate Reeves' first inauguration at the State Capitol. The couple got engaged in 2023, with a proposal on the patio of the Walter Sillers building in Jackson, where Eakins was working for Attorney General Lynn Fitch.
The newlyweds will kick off married life with a short trip to the Bahamas before Johnson's "Last Honky Tonk Tour begins in June. Later this year, they'll take a longer trip to Europe.
